authoritative domain, as well as needing a reliable way to provide general
information to residents of the municipalities we serve. We have the skills to
handle all of this ourselves, so we’ll continue this way until such time as
we step down or our successors decide to decommision these services.

The costs of domain registration, email hosting, and website hosting (expected to
cost less than $50 per year in total) will be covered by emergency management
grants.

About

The Delta-Peach Bottom Regional EMA serves the municipalities of Peach Bottom
Township and Delta Borough, located in York County, PA, US. Delta-Peach Bottom
EMA is a volunteer-run part of the York County (PA) Office of Emergency
Management. We work closely with the York County OEM as well as the Delta-Cardiff
Fire Company to manage emergency incidents at a local level.

The Delta-Peach Bottom Regional EMA is always looking for volunteers to assist
with management of real incidents as well as exercises and drills that are held
periodically. No prior experience is necessary, though volunteers will be asked
to take some free training courses (mainly online, with option for in-person) if
they choose to volunteer for specific roles.

Contact

The preferred method for reaching the Emergency Management Coordinator is by

volunteers (aside from municipal staff). There are many volunteer opportunities,
including local Emergency Operation Center (EOC) staff during emergency situations and
emergency exercises and drills.

Most EOC roles will require prior experience with administrative tasks, such as
collating information, filling out forms, answering or placing telephone calls,
use of online web-based systems, receiving and sending email, printing, making
photocopies, scanning documents, and updating status boards.
